Nelson Sauvin. Notes of grape, gooseberry and grapefuit with that dry, bitter finish

MALT: Maris Otter, Carapils, Munich type 2.
HOPS: Nelson Sauvin

Tasting Notes

Look – Light amber & hazy.

Aroma – Grapefruit and slightly bready.

Taste – Sweet and grapefruit.

Feel – Medium Bodied.

Finish – Dry and bitter, with a lingering breadiness.

Named after the Egyptian warrior goddess and daughter of the sun god Ra.

Tasting Notes

Look – Amber & slightly hazy. Brownish head.

Aroma – Fruity, Chocolate, Caramel and slight cherry.

Taste – Sweet, fruity, then chocolate comes through.

Feel – Dry & medium bodied.

Finish – Bitter. Chocolate lingers.

Something between a black IPA and a Porter.

Moving towards a porter with roasted and smoky notes taking centre stage.

HOPS:  Willamette, Columbus

ABV: 5.2% IBUS: 45 EBC: 67

Tasting Notes

Look – Deep Brown/Black. Creamy brown head.

Aroma – Chocolate & Fruity. A slight sourness I can’t really put my finger on.

Taste – Sweet initially, then smokey & hoppy.

Feel – Medium Body.

Finish – Bitter, lingering coffee.
